Regarding kissing:

So in canon, Kori is able to assimilate language and knowledge through kisses. If your character kisses Kori (on the lips and longer than a peck), I would like for you to fill this out for me please. (Her not obtaining knowledge/language is an option)

Abilities:

Tamaranean Physiology

Their alien physiology allows Tamaraneans to evaluate the world around them differently. Memory is stored in ways unlike that of any humans, and the way they see the world are based primarily on sights and smells- essentially sensory experiences. Their attention spans aren’t very long either, not because they lack the capacity to pay attention to things but because it is harder to find something that interest them enough (their behaviors have been likened to cats by Scott Lobdell). Outside of behavior, their bodies are a deep orange color with green eyes. They are also able to absorb ultraviolet light and convert it into energy. The sun is a great source for them, but they can also siphon it from other beings who also absorb UV light (such as Kyrptonians). The energy created from absorbing this light can be used for a variety of things:

Flight:
Burning UV energy gives Starfire the ability to fly. The energy she burns also appears as a trail of fire behind her (that consequently seems to flow from her hair).

Strength:
The exact level of strength Starfire has is unknown, but it is greater than most beings (aliens and human alike) on Earth. There are few exceptions to this.

Linguistic Assimilation:
Physical contact seems to be able to help her gain the knowledge of other languages (this hasn’t been addressed in DCnU but I am assuming it is one that still stands).

Altered Physiology

While held captive with the Citadel, Starfire was experimented on in ways that changed her physiology to certain extents. For the most part, her physiology remains that of a Tamaranean. However she did gain a few things that others did not have:

Starbolts:
Starfire is able to channel and release energy from her hands known as ‘starbolts’. The bolts are dangerous, and potentially lethal.

Invulnerability:
Beyond that of a normal Tamaranean, Starfire seems to be able to endure some things a normal Tamaranean cannot (as shown in RHatO #5 when the transubstantiator did not strip her of her abilities and she said it was due to her changed physiology).

note: this is all dependent on ultraviolet light. Being so far down from the surface will have her at a weakened state.

Tamaranean Warrior

She retains fighting knowledge from being trained in the ways of the warriors by her fellow Tamaraneans, and takes great pride in her warrior status (assuming Tamaranean trainers and not Warlords of Okaara because she often claims pride in her Tamaranean warrior status, though I don’t think she’s ever been back home after captivity as in this timeline she was sacrificed to save Tamaran). Even weakened, she’s not helpless.

If Starfire ever met Nathan Young she’d be instantly bored with him. He’s average on the outside, and would blur into that of another human. He would likely grow on her over time, as he is the persistent type when interested, and through that she’d get to know him enough to possibly even be willing to have a drink with him. After awhile, he might even be entertaining to her, as he does seem to have the same outcast quality she’s drawn to in her teammates. However, she would agree to sleep with him if he ever asked. And he would definitely bore her in bed so much she would simply leave in the middle of it. She’d still talk to him after, she’d just never sleep with him again.

Action post sample:

Delicate ice particles melt into water particles around where bare orange feet step. No matter how careful her steps are, the delicate crystals fall into a liquid state. She can’t help but frown slightly. Maybe, just once, she might like to feel what snow is like beneath her feet or in her hands. Instead her body burns away the cold that keeps the flakes frozen and turns it to water in her hands.

There was almost something poetic about it. Everything in this world was fragile compared to her. Earth was so unprotected. How did the humans manage their lives like this? Currently Roy and Jason sat inside with various bandages around multiple injuries. She’d been in the same fight as them and not a scratch covered her own body. Humans were so delicate that way. It was such a strange thing.

She rested against the railing outside the hotel, bent over it and arms resting atop it.

“Kori… uhh…” She heard come from the room in a male voice. It was Roy. She could barely tell the difference in voices, but she recognized the mannerisms. She knew what he was trying to get to.

“I was just looking at the snow,” She said as she turned back to walk inside, no longer exposing her naked body to the world. No one was outside. It was cold outside, and it was late. No one had seen. She’d just wanted to feel this natural world as much as she could. There was so much beauty to be held in their own natural world that they were missing. She didn’t understand why not all humans shared in this desire.

Still she turned around and made her way back into the bedroom, leaving a puddle of water outside their door.
